- What inspired you to choose the specific design elements and layout for your blog?
- I wanted to make my blog/website to be very minimalistic and not too cluttered. I used simple colors like black and white to create a very minimal digital space where I can focus on putting in blogs and assignments for this class. I have a very minimal lifestyle anyways and my digital life reflects that. I got a lot of inspiration from Squarespace’s templates, but I used a template from WordPress for my site. I also used Pinterest for some inspiration, but I mainly used templates from Squarespace to map out my ideas.
- How do you envision your blog’s visual aesthetics contributing to the overall user experience and engagement?
- I want my blogs to copy the aesthetic of my overall website to make it easy on the eyes. I also wanted my blog website to be very easy to navigate and have everything in one place.
- In what ways does the chosen design align with the content and theme of your blog, and how might it enhance or complement the message you want to convey to your audience?
- My overall theme for my blog is minimal and clean, and I think my chosen design elements definitely reflect that. Having a minimalistic lifestyle can enhance your overall productivity and it definitely has helped my anxiety because I have a clean space digitally and what is around me.
